I wish I did own that book, but my wife is going to whack me if I buy another book, particulary one that's typically $150 and up. There's reference to a couple of my ancestors that I'd be grateful if someone could look up for me.  Any Hale reference from Tennessee, but mostly George Hale and his son John Hamilton Hale of Tennessee who was a marshal in the Confederate Congress. There is a Hale from Alabama who was quite prominant, but he is not of my family.

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks, but I don't see any download button.
I don't think that's an option.

Try "file" and "save as."

I'll check into it. I didn't know I could purchase directly from them.
Thanks much.

same results here -- as mentioned before, IF I can get an "ID" snafu at Hastings College resolved (in progress now) I can get access to this, and LOTS of good stuff and will respond to requests for research from serious students of the Constitution of the united States {1787-1791} -- I can cheerfully suggest reading the trilogy of US History Books by John W. Burgess, "The Middle Period", "The Civil War and the Constitution" and "Reconstruction & the Constitution" -- the first is loaded with useful information and links which have me poised to petition the supreme Court in its' ORIGINAL jurisdiction and with a VERY real expectation of being heard and breaking the 'state' Bar monopoly ...
