Defender thanks for the information. I was hoping there was a book. I love the Texas history on line. I use it quite often for Trivia answers. My great great grandfather is listed I believe . Fletcher Davis. Uncle Fletcher was a newspaper owner and editor in Honod Texas for many many years. His daughter still lives in his home in Hondo. She is in her 90's now. Hmm seems that is now two of the Generals who died at Franklin buried with mispelled names. States' Rights Gist named is mispelled also.
