 Last night I finally found my DVD of GaG. Slipped it into the player and don't remember watching any of it.

To set the stage, my monitor is directly in front of me. My TV sits at my right elbow. The reason I had GaG on was because there was nothing on the TV -- no news, repeats on BookTV, old stuff on SciFi and little of value on tru or IFC. I played both sides -- the whole nine yards -- and remember nothing about it. Except the music.

The Last Full Measure is going to have to find a backer and Ted is not likely to volunteer.

If WE want it made, we'll need to persuade one of our billionaire friends to take a shot. Guess I should shoot a quick email to my buddy, the Donald, with the request.

Maybe I can get my buddy, Clint, to look into it.

The reality is that one does not dump millions into a movie that appeals only to thousands. Ken Burns got away with it. He might well have been the last to do so.
