 Just in case you haven't seen the ads, HBO is debuting the seven week series John Adams based on the best selling book by David McCullough.  Paul Giamatti stars as John Adams. Laura Linney stars as Abigale Adams and Tim Wilkinson is Ben Franklin. The executive producer is Tom Hanks.

The series which is presented as a drama, not a History Channel-style documentary, starts Sunday, March 16 at 8:00PM, EDT. 

It promises to be very interesting for history buffs, most especially Revolutionary War buffs.
