As always well written, and thoughtfull MA. We have the luxuary of disagreeing with the governments policies. Those folks impliment it because it is their JOB. My nephew  is a retired Marine WO II who also studied Gettysburg and Vicksburg. Thank you for portraying your neighbor as a person trained in the science of battle. Our military are not wild eyed killing machines. They are men and women, moms and dads who want to go home to their families. Just like our police and firefighters.  By the way my nephew fell during Desert Storm and broke his neck. He could have retired on disability , but did not. He was bitten by a rattle snake on a training mission and hospitalized for eight months, and did not disable out. He then served in Iraqui freedom, and is now involved with Homeland security. I will step off my soapbox now.
