I was at Fort Monroe last fall. I loved it . I would hate to see it disappear. It is an amazing place. The casement museum is so interesting . Cannot believe Egar Allan Poe was stationed there as well as Fort Moultrie. So much history in the site. I would hope that it becomes a museum of sorts.

P.S. tell Tom the Cal 100 was out in force this week end at Long Beach reeactment. They looked fine in their uniforms . It was a very good first reenactment for Long Beach.
