When I first started attending the fourth of July parade in Huntington Beach in the early 70's the Pearl Harbor Survivors took up three whole blocks as they marched down the street in their Hawaiian Shirts, white pants and campaign hats. This year there were about a dozen in jeeps . One old guy though was hanging out as far as he could waving to the crowds. They still give the hang loose sign and seem to be enjoying themselves. They always get the biggest round of applause . Will be sad when the last of them pass and there aren't anymore in the parade. Susan
