I bought a WWI doughboy helmet from Goodwill for about $12.99 a couple years ago. I'm 80% sure it's not a Brit's helmet, but I don't know how to tell the difference. It still has the liner in it, paint on it, and some triangles on both side of the helmet, which I think is the regimental insignia. I know it has to be more than $12.99, and I have seen some sold for quite a bit. How much might it be worth? It looks sort of like the one shown below, but with 3 triangles on each side of the helmet. ![]() Last edited on Thu Jan 15th, 2009 10:45 pm by 1861-65 ____________________ That old man...had my division massacred at Gettysburg!" - George Pickett said these words to John S.
