The 42nd Indiana was scattered along the mostly dry bed of Doctor's Creek when Johnson's Confederate brigade attacked. The Hoosier soldiers had to turn their backs on the enemy and climb these cliffs under fire, many did not make it out. Attachment: 42nd indiana cliff.jpg (Downloaded 62 times)
