 I got "Men of Fire: Grant, Forrest and the Campaign that Decided the Civil War," by Jack Hurst, and a new set of Batchelder maps of Gettysburg (I go through them pretty fast, I've found!).

Tim, I second (or is that third?) the kudos for "This Nation of Suffering." It's full of things about death in the time of the CW that I never thought about, and I found it wildly fascinating, in a morbid sort of way. Let me know what you think of it when you get around to reading it.
