Hi all,

If you have never watched the movie Wicked Spring then you are missing out on a really good independent film made a couple of years back. One of the two main guys in the film is a good friend of mine. He was in the movie Gettysburg as Vincents Color Guard and can be seen standing between Chamberlin and Vincent in the scene on Little Round Top. He also was in Gods and Generals and Andersonville and also The Rough Riders. His name is Brian Merrick and he now lives in Gettysburg. This film is not about Generals and all the brass. It is about the guys on the front line of battle and the confusion of it all. It has a slow start but it more than makes up for that as the movie goes on.  It has an ending that catches you and is more believable then some other Civil War movies I have seen. It was done well and the acting is really good.  You can buy the movie on Amazon and I have seen it for sale in Gettysburg also. I think it sells for 14 or 15 bucks but is well worth it..It is a great view of how the men on the front lines seen the battle and how they reacted to it with really believable battle footage..

Sal
