On a side note to this topic - as I was watching this particular episode of CW Journal, there were pictures of some pretty horrific injuries. I don't remember, as I was watching, if these men were identified as either Union or Confederate. I don't think it matters. What I came away thinking was that neither side had a monopoly on determination and courage. Men from both sides, whatever their cause for fighting, were willing to give the last full measure. It was a pretty moving episode to me. I think the next time I'm out Frederick way, I will make time for this museum.
