 Actually there was and is current plans on the table for the last movie in the Gods & Generals trilogy based on the The Last Full Measure book by Jeff Shaara.

As of April 2010 the film was in the partial filming/production stage untill the finantial backing fell through on the project and it's currently on hold as of early May but, Atleast partial production and filming has started on the project.
