![]() Humpf, can't get rid of the little picture. Oh well. I am trying to work the Tinypic system so bear with me. June 10, 1863 OK. General Imboden moved his brigade from the Moscow area to Dry River. Roughly 14 miles. As you can see in the picture there are many large Mennonite farms. They have been in this area forever. Absolutely beautiful country. There is a bridge to the right of Lilly crossing Dry River and then there is a large flat plain area. I believe this to be the place where he camped. It appears he is traveling the back country. Bridgewater, Virginia is across the river and South East on this picture. ![]() Last edited on Thu Jun 10th, 2010 10:04 am by Old Blu |
