My great great grandfather was a articipher in thr 2nd reg. battery a, light artillary of the union reg. army, he mustered in july 1861 and mustered out july 1864. Can anyone shed any info on the reg. or the battery, or info. on his job would be helpful. I am a member of the sons of the civil war! THANKS
