Hubby and I have been going to movies for decades. We have been disappointed many times when a trailer was the best part of a movie. I have noticed this particularly with comedies in which the funniest jokes are all in the trailer and the rest of the movie yields barely a laugh. Still, I have high hopes for this movie. It is a compelling story, plus so seldom is attention given to Mary Surratt. Historians concentrate on John Wilkes Booth and even Dr. Mudd, much more so than Mary Surratt. Plus to go to the extreme of hanging a woman in those days makes for quite a bit of drama too.
