BHR62- Re: the 33rd NC- perhaps these dedicated aficionados can give you more info: 33rd Regiment North Carolina Troops Descendants Association You can also find regimental history sites online for the 33rd NC that might give you info that you are looking for. Generally speaking, good sources about positions on battlefields include maps and whatever can be found on the battle in the ORs. In the case of Chancellorsville, many maps exist, and there is a section present in the ORs. Here is one set of maps. I'm sure that many more detailed ones can be found.
