Thanks Texas Defender for these sites....I've been googling the 33rd NC all day and they were an impressive regiment. I had planned on joining the Sons of the Union, but the Sons of the Confederacy looks cool too. Right now I have about 8 Yanks and 1 Reb ancestors who fought in the war. I got a feeling when I dig some more it will even out.
