Old Blu
An ancestor of mine was killed by an artilery shell there, Gen. Charles Winder. Another, Gen. Lloyd Tilghman was killed by an artilery shell at Champions Hill fired from the battery of another ancestor in the Chicago Merchantile Battery.

Down the road on the right about 300-400 hundred yards was a house that they carried Winder to. I stop there about and asked a fellow if he new of a house foundation and he new nothing and a little hostile to my asking!
