My friend recently bought an old wooden chest. Inside she found an original 1846 9th edition book of martyrs. I know we have alot of historians on this site and I'm hoping there is one that also has an interest in antique books. I'd really like to know more about this book and also maybe the value. It also had newspaper clippings from Grants election as president. the book is in rough shape, the binding is beginning to fall apart and you cant read the cover. I'd appreciate any help you can give me
