 Whoops, Treaveler! It seems I have unwittingly hijacked your post and posted a similar notice about the Civil War cruise on another thread below. Furthermore, your post features a lovely rendition of the actual steamboat being used for the cruise.

I apologize for stepping on your toes on this one. Anyway, I still find the fare very steep, especially given the cost of flying or driving to the home port. That said, I don't know if the price is steep compared to other typical river cruises.

If I were to win the Lotto, I would not hesitate to do this cruise. It would be a fascinating fifteen days.
