Jackson was a man w/ faults as well as strength. He wasn't as popular w/ his men as some would have you believe. If you go by the caveat of what a Generals men think of him... he ranks far behind Longstreet or Johnston.

As a noteh Jackson would never have refered to himself as great, he likely would have referenced his troops as great.

As a note Thomas was a US General... if you are going to refer to Stonewall Jackson as Thomas you will only confuse the matter.
