Sir:

Believe it or not, the DOS games CW Strategy & CW Battleset are the first ones I found when looking for old games for this machine.  I can't locate the link right now, or I'd include it for others to look at.

Those games are OLD.  I remember playing CW Strategy on an IBMPC 386 about 1987. I found them on a site run by one guy who has alot of really old stuff. Memories of college days, learning to work with these damn machines, and playing that CW game-for-the-young WHAT IF?

But finding those, while looking around for old servicable software, led me to remember that old first Antietam demo.  When you clicked on a unit on the field, a window popped up that gave more information on that unit than you could shake a re-enactor at.

Thanks for the help.  I'm just going to have to get a new machine.  I haven't owned a machine at the house for many years - used one at work and had my fill.  Didn't do much internet stuff, tho, that wasn't strictly related to the job, so going out and "Surfing the Web" and so on is pretty new to me, too.  I get kinda retro, sometimes.

regards,

JDC
