 That letter is so good! I wonder if the editor cleaned it up a bit? It's just too well written to be believable. Whatever. It makes a lovely story. You can just feel the trepidation of the troopers as they mixed with the Rangers -- and you can feel their resolve in that they couldn't appear stand-offish or frightened. Awesome.
