In all my reading, prob'ly one of the most singular paragraphs that I had ever come across was how, in his last months, Lee finally unburdened himself - to someone, I can't remember who, I'm thinking a cousin - but I will find the reference if anyone wants it. When asked about The Battle Of Gettysburg, and how it was lost, General R. E. Lee, said, " if Thomas Jackson had been there, he would have found a way to take That Hill".
