I am LDS and have been my whole life. I honestly have yet to hear of a ban on the movie from my leaders. I'm making a huge assumption here but my opinion is that Hollywood will most likely put out a biased view on the big screen and that gives us members a bad taste in our mouth. I just so happen to have read an article yesterday in a magazine published by my church concerning the Mountain Meadows Massacre. It is from the LDS point of view.
