Yardbirds with Clapton , Beck,  Page.  actually saw them when Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page were both with them .

Unknown to many, one of my favorite albums which I have finally found in cd form after too many years to count , is Jesse Ed Davis album.  Jesse was on many L.A. albums and a member of Taj Mahal's band Rising Sons , a band of many greats that never really made it , CD is around .  They did a rock cover of Candy Man  Mississippi John Hurts song .

Doc, Old time rock and roller here , my early 70's collection of records was used by a local  college professor to teach a history of Rock and Roll .  I wander off into Folk, Cajun , Old Tyme , and Cowboy music in times since then.  My iPod is loaded with the strangest combination of music .  Hurdy Gurdy to hard rock .

oops left out Dylan , Springsteen, Mellencamp, all the albums that are the sound track of my life.  Opps Mamas and the Papas , California Dreamin always brings back memories of a rainy day January when a friend on the east coast told me that song made him want to leave New England snow and head to "sunny " California .   So many Mamas and Papas songs in my sound track.   which leads me to Lovin' Spoonful.  Yikes the list goes on and on.   Back to reading Civil War while listening to these and many more.
