 Doc I have Rising Tide .  I started reading it about a year ago when I decided I needed to read some history that wasn't Civil War .  I started laughing when I started reading this book and there were all the usual suspects from the War.  I also have the Randy Newman CD with the songs about the Flood .  Had some how missed it in the 70's but bought it after Katrina when it was listed on a music store website and mailer I get once a month. 

I do have to say I did not finish Rising Tide yet.  I had to go back to Civil War for a discussion group .  I will get back to it .  hmm maybe I should make it my car book.  (we have discussed that before ---- the book I carry in the car to read when I have appointment wait times ).
