 Okay, I'm here.  I saw a post from this new guy (the one with the Fremont avatar?) which got me to post this.

I have visited a good number of Revolutionary War battlefields and ACW battlefields - those in the East - and hope some day to visit Vicksburg and those in the far west Theater.

I need history.  ALL history is good; I like American history best.  I am very keen on discussing the ACW.  T.J. Jackson is my favorite.  I have both books published by his wife.

 

And I'm not telling any of you where I live.  Those books are mine! Mine! Mine!

muwahhahahahahaha (maniacal laughter)

You fit right in with 'bout a hunnert others. We each have our thing joined only in an interest of the USCW. Sometimes we can get testy, but usually we agree on the important thing: learning what others have to teach.

 Yeah well you can't have my copy of Grant's Memoirs so nah nah.  WElcome, you will find several eher who have a passion for the ink.  Heck most of us have more book son the subject than your local library... I know I do.

Books and battlefields are what I hold dear until my CC bills arrive and my real Dear figures out that she's second fiddle. Diapers be DAMNED! Priorities are made to be addended!  ))..

 PA .. better buy them diapers take it from personal experience w/th 3 kids , 13 lbs. on the box does not mean how much them little suckers can hold
