  There is lots of info available on Senator Haynes. Here is a short bio:

Biography of Confederate Senator L. C. Haynes

  And here is where he is buried:

 

Landon Carter Haynes (1816 - 1875) - Find A Grave Memorial

  He was originally buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, but his remains were removed to Jackson Cemetery in 1902.
