did anyone watch the Baby Borrowers last night? its a new show where they took 5 teenage couples and gave them all a house. for the first day or two they got to live alone, but the girls had to wear this thing that made them look like they were pregnant. (needless to say that took all the fun out of being alone in a house with the one you love) so the couples had to attend a parenting class to learn how to take care of babies. when they got home from the class they went into a nursery and found that the show had dropped off all sorts of furniture and toys and made them put the room together. the next day 5 couples brought their babies to the teens. they get 3 days with the babies, then they get toddlers, then preteens, then teens, then old people. after getting the babies men had to go shopping and get all the stuff the baby needs. the couples then had to decide who gets to work and who gets to stay home and take care of the babies. the real parents have a monitor where they can watch everything that goes on in the house and intervein when ever they think they need to.

this show comes on Wednesdays at 8 and the new episodes at 9. some of the teens are already complaining about being stressed and being to tired to do anything. as the comercial says It's Not Tv, It's Birth Control!!

oh yeah its definatly a REALITY show. 5 teen couples are gettin a healthy dose of reality. there is no prise to win, and no one gets kicked off, the prize you win is learning how to take care of kids and making teens see how they treat their parents and maybe make them wait a few years before having kids cause they might not be ready now.

With apologies to you, Dixie Girl, sometimes the teener manages the problems. Most often, however, it don't happen as expected.

There's much to be said about having a few years under your belt. Granted, parents can be as screwed up as the kids, but generally speaking, the mom 'en 'em, run the show Most often, they've been there and done that. That they want to keep you from doing the same is most understandable.

No one gets a manual upon having a child. All a mother or father can do is fall back upon what their mothers and fathers would have done. Sometimes that doesn't work either. Let's just say that I'm glad you're a teener and I'm not. I wouldn't want to again go through what you have coming up.

Good luck.
