The Missouri Civil War Museum is a 22,000 square foot museum and library facility currently being restored at the Jefferson Barracks Historic Site in St. Louis, MO. It is scheduled to open on the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War, April 12, 2011.

Cool! Jefferson Barracks is where my old unit, the 4th Cavalry, was formed back in 1855. I didn't know there was anything left of the site. I'll have to go see it next time I'm in the area.
