Hi Y'all! It's me Bama 46, AKA 19Bama46, and now operating undeer the nom-de-plume of 9Bama.. I have no idea what happened, but when I tried to logon under the old name,.. no soap then tried new password...same result.... Sooooooo ya gott aput up with me as another Bama in the house..9Bama is my liscense plate (IL)

yeah Bama, the lil gal is all growed up, and not too far from college. its so nice to hear from you again! i forgot the link to this site and i was searching the web yesterday and came across it. luckily my computer still remembered my password and name.

Hey DG! I'm doing pretty good...took another ACW vacation a couple of months ago...Gettysburg, Wilson's Creek, Antietam, Harper's Ferry, Manassas, Lexington, Norfolk, and Appomattox. Pics are posted in the general forum. I understand the whole FB junkie thing...I go there a bit myself LOL! College huh? You ARE growing up...good luck with it girl. The Captain

i will definitely check out your pics! lucky! i wish i could take a vacation that revolves around the CW, maybe someday soon.....so far ive been to Fort Fisher, Bennett Place, and Fort Macon. i could have easily spent a whole day at each place!!! i have just got together all my UDC paperwork, just waiting to get up with the president of the chapter to turn it in. i am the baby of the group. the oldest member is 93 and the rest are 60 plus. they are all tickled to have a baby in the group haha!! im excited to learn all these women can teach me. in the process of finding all the paperwork i needed i found out that my great great great grandfather was on the Confederate Roll of Honor and won the Southern Cross of Honor, this is stuff i didnt know but am so proud of. FB became the way for me to keep in touch with my reenactor buddies that live in different states, but once i got on there i found out why they call it crackbook....once you get started on there its impossible to stop!! LOL!!! and thanks, im going to be going to law school so i need all the luck i can get!

You'll do just fine I suspect. My older sis is a UDC'er...funny thing is she hardly goes to any of the meetings...says "there's too many old women"...she turns 72 this January LOL!

haha well age doesnt matter as long as you feel and think young! i have a couple of friends in their 60's and they rate themselves to be about 25 lol
