I'm currently re-watching this old TV Miniseries from the early 80's. I forgot how much I liked Shogun. Toshiro Mifune...pure Samurai smoothness.

Ah, that reminds me of my freshman year of college! A friend and I really got into anything Japanese thanks to Shogun, and I also developed a huge crush on Richard Chamberlin, who was at least 25 years my senior! I haven't watched it since--maybe it's time to revisit!

Yeah I bet a lot of ladies from our era were crushed when he "came out" a few years back. He's excellent in Shogun. I just recently got it on DVD and it looks very good for a 30+ year old TV mini series.
