My 9 year old brogans are moldy.

In the spring of this year, I treated them with Neesfoot Oil, then wore them to about 9 events this year....When at home (and between events), I put a cedar shoe saver in each shoe, and keep them in my bedroom, where they can dry out if they've gotten wet.

Now, there's a blueish mold growing on them.....How do I get rid of it?

A Pard suggested spraying them with Lysol.....

Thanks!!

Start w/ a boot brush before going the Lysol route... moldy isn't something I've experianced on my brogans,

Thanks!!

Yeah, in 9 years, I've ALWAYS treated them the same way, yet THIS year, they decide to mold on me!!.....I do not know why.....If I ever find out, I'll certainly adjust the way I care for them!!

I may get a pair of Fugawi Brogans before next season, but the ones that I have now are more comfortable than the shoes I wear in civilian life!....

I'll try the brush/Lysol route!!.....I appreciate your input!!
