Reminder Saturday, July 5, 2014, 9:30 AM – “RCCWRT Volunteer Activity at Fort Stevens.” In preparation for the 150 Commemoration of the Battle of Fort Stevens, RCCWRT participants are invited to join Ranger Kim Elder and others in a major, post 4th of July clean-up of the historic site. Participants are asked to bring work gloves, leaf rakes, a folding chair and water, and to meet at the Fort Stevens NHS, Elizabeth Thomas Way (Quackenbos Street) NW and Piney Branch Road (13th Street) NW, Washington, DC. This activity is expected to last two hours.

With ma at the hospital ere morning, couple volunteers came by, offered me juice and a cookie. It's an old code, doing something for nothing. :)
