 This North Carolina native and Cherokee chief served mostly with Kirby Smith in East Tennessee. He holds a very unique distinction among Cherokee chiefs which remains to this day. Name him and his unique distinction.

Q. Other than the obvious Tennessee, name another State where a" Battle of Franklin" occurred in April 1863. Hint it had at least two other names one with an " Irish " bent to it.
